I have started meeting with a branding consultant. We are developing a logo and some ideas to drive progress for Medium Reality. We talked a little about the differences between that project and the Pandora's Trunk project, and the trouble that many poly-project people have with putting the focus in the right place at the right time. I created Pandora's Trunk because I needed it as a promotional engine for my own work, and wanted to join forces with other artists to work together on those things. It is a great way for creators, who often do their work alone, to have co-workers and peers to interact with professionally on a regular basis.
Ernesto and I have declared that project complete. Not that it's over, just that it has been fully developed, is an awesome independent entity of its own, and has a huge and vibrant community of artists galvanized to produce work with each other. Hooray! Now it's time to focus on my work as one of those artists.
Medium Reality is a men's clothing line produced in San Francisco using recycled materials & sourced by bicycle: sustainable as hell. Look for these clothes to star in Pandora's Trunk runway shows at Maker Faire in San Mateo May 30th and Re-Compression in San Francisco June 6th. Keep your eyes on this space in the next 30 days.
